Reno, Nevada's 89.1 FM KJIV "The Fine 89" played a unique mix of music including Jazz, Blues, Americana, Rock and Zydeco--something they referred to as "schizoclectic." In 2017 the station was sold to
Nevada Public Radio and became KVNV. Meanwhile, the
KJIV call letters and format packed up and headed 440 miles north to Madras, Oregon where they now broadcast at 96.5 FM.
