1070 AM WANM was on the air in Tallahassee, Florida from 1974 until 1997, most notably as an Urban/Soul station. The call letters of the daytime-only outlet referred to
Florida A&M University which is the only public historically black university in the the state. The WANM call letters are now in use by
Florida A&M's radio station located at 90.5 FM.
