KSFO

KSFO went on the air in August 1925 with call letters KTAB and were based in Oakland, California.  They appeared on six different frequencies in their first few years before settling at 560 AM in 1929.  In 1935 they moved their city-of-license to San Francisco and changed calls to KSFO.  As of this posting the 5,000-watt station carries a Talk format much of which are nationally syndicated conservative programs.

The KSFO call letters and programming moved to 810 on November 18, 2024, displacing the heritage KGO calls. 560 is now KZAC and is presumed to be up for sale.
