WARX

The WARX call letters existed in Hagerstown, Maryland from 1985 until 2005.  Formats during that time included Adult Contemporary, Oldies and Classic Hits.  I have no idea what they programmed while branded as "107 ARX"

The "107ARX" branding was during their Album Oriented Rock (AOR) days. They switched up the branding from "107X" to "107ARX" when then-WXCS changed it's calls to WARX.

The station now carries the WWEG callsign and a Classic Rock/Classic Hits format branded as "106-9 The Eagle".

They have a MASSIVE signal and serve "the Four-State" (Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania) along the I-81 corridor.

They break into the DC market's ratings sometimes. Most recently, they carried a 0.3 rating.
