In 1993 AM 970 in Portland, Maine changed call letters from WYNZ to WZAN and began programming a Hot Talk format. In 2009 the Talk shifted more to politics with the addition of Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham to the lineup. They flipped to Sports in 2016 and are currently a Classic Country station branded as
"The Outlaw"
