1360 AM WCHL airs a mix of News/Talk, Sports and Adult Album Alternative music in (W) Chapel HilL, North Carolina.  Their first day on the air was January 25, 1953 making them Chapel Hill's oldest continuous broadcaster.  In 2012 they added an FM translator and in 2016 rebranded as "97.9 The Hill."
