Ziplining

Took my son zip-lining through the canopy of the Hocking Hills this afternoon. After a short lesson on our equipment and how to brake, it was off to the cables to fling ourselves from tree to tree. It was tons of fun and something we'll definitely do again. Here's a clip of myself on one of the shorter runs followed by my son who strapped the camera to his chest.



WZIP is a student-run station from the University of Akron in Akron, Ohio. They carry a CHR format during the day and switch to Active Rock at night.

WAPS

91.3 WAPS is an Adult Album Alternative station licensed to Akron, Ohio and operated by that city's public school system.  Weekends are set aside for block programming such as rap and reggae along with a wide variety of ethnic music shows including Serbian, Hungarian, Italian and Indian. While owned by (W) Akron Public Schools, the station is run like a "regular" public radio station (i.e. run by adults) and students are mostly used as interns.  They moved from 89.1 FM to 91.3 FM in 1994.
