College Radio Week - KUPS
KUPS is a 100% student-run station from the (K) University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. "90.1 The Sound" began as a closed-circuit AM experiment in 1968 before becoming an FM station 7 years later. KUPS ranks #8 on the Princeton Review's list of "most popular" college radio stations for 2012.

KKMO
KMO began broadcasting at 1360 AM from Tacoma, Washington in 1922. Sometime in the 1980s (when I believe they carried a Country format) they added a second K to their call letters.
More recently KKMO became a Regional Mexican station known as "Radio Sol." They remain a Spanish language station today but are now known as "El Rey 1360 AM."
