KTCZ

KTCZ (K Twin CitieZ) is a Modern Adult Contemporary station in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  "Cities 97" has carried some form of Alternative Rock/Adult Album Alternative format since February, 1984.

KORA

KORA 98.3 FM is a Country station licensed to Bryan, Texas.  The call letters are a tribute to the mother of the original station owner, Kora Jones.

KGFM

101.5 KGFM is an Adult Contemporary station in Bakersfield, California.  At one time they carried much softer AC format as evidenced by the video below.

KARM

89.7 FM KARM is a Religious station licensed to Visalia, California.  They are now branded as "Promise FM".

Super Bowl 50

Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California is the site for tonight's Super Bowl which pits the Carolina Panthers againts the Denver Broncos. I'll be rooting for the Panthers because free safety Kurt Coleman is a local kid and because they are one of the 13 franchises that has never won the Lombardi Trophy.

News/Talk 1110 AM WBT is the flagship station of the Carolina Panthers radio network.  This temporary tattoo features the team logo that was used from their inception in 1995 until 2011.

1280 AM KBNO is a Regional Mexican station in Denver, Colorado.  At one time they carried Broncos games in Spanish but no longer appear on the list of team radio affiliates.

SpeedFreaks

SpeedFreaks is a nationally syndicated radio show focusing on "a lethal combination of motorsports commentary, entertainment and lifestyle."  The show airs live from 10-midnight Eastern time on about two dozen terrestrial stations as well as XM/Sirius satellite radio.

KIYS

"101.9 Kiss FM" was a Top-40 station licensed to Jonesboro, Arkansas.

In 2010, KIYS moved one notch down the dial to 101.7 FM in order to better target the Memphis, Tennessee market.  They are now licensed to Walnut Ridge, AR.

WRMX

"Oldies 96.3" WRMX broadcast in Nashville, Tennessee from 1990 until 2000.  The frequency is now home to Adult Hits "96.3 Jack FM" WCJK.

KMOC

89.5 FM KMOC is a Contemporary Christian station in Wichita Falls, Texas.  They went on the air on July 7, 1987.

CKIK

CKIK "107 KIK FM" was a Rock station in Calgary, Alberta beginning in April, 1982.

Sometime towards the end of 1997, CKIK became "Power 107" and flipped to CHR.

CKIK became a Hot Adult Contemporary station around 2002 known as "The Peak".

107.3 FM is currently CFGQ "Q107" and carries a Classic Rock/Classic Hits format.

WWFM

89.1 FM WWFM is the flagship station of The Classical Network and is owned and operated by Mercer County Community College in West Windsor, New Jersey.  The network is heard on three other stations and seven translators in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and one in Steamboat Springs, Colorado as well as on an HD2 channel in New York City.  The combined reach of all these signals enables The Classical Network to reach the highest population of any other public or commercial Classical music station.  WWFM is licensed to Trenton, NJ and went on the air in 1982.

KBIE

89.1 FM KBIE was a Religious station licesned to Fountain Hills, Arizona.  The frequency is now part of the Contemporary Christian K-LOVE network.

Radio Framboise

Radio Framboise (Radio Rasberry) was a private station broadcasting to French-speaking Switzerland from 1989 until 2005.  Based on this station-sponsored compilation album, it appears that they carried a Pop/Dance/CHR format.  Radio Framboise is now known as Rouge FM.

Radio Bremen

Radio Bremen began broadcasting on the AM band on December 23, 1945 in post-war Germany.  Originally broadcasting Armed Forces Network programming under the control of the Allied powers, the station was handed over to Germany in 1949.  Radio Bremen is made up of two networks:  Bremen Eins (Bremen One) which plays Oldies and daily news for an adult audience while Bremen Vier (Bremen Four) carries hit music for a younger demographic.

WXYG

A locally-owned, Rock-formatted station on the AM dial is a total rarity in today's radio landscape.  But such an animal exists at WXYG "540 AM The Goat", an Album Oriented Rock station licensed to Sauk Rapids, Minnesota.  They went on the air in June, 2011.

W251AO / WOXL-HD2

"98.1 The River" is a 250-watt, Adult Album Alternative station licensed to Asheville, North Carolina.  The station is heard over the air at 98.1 FM on W251AO and on WOXL's second HD Radio channel.

WLSR

"Lite 105" WLSR (W Lima Stereo Radio) was an Adult Contemporary station in Lima, Ohio from 1986 until 1991.  104.9 FM is currently WEGE "The Eagle" and plays Classic Rock.

WHLY

A 1986 sticker from Top-40 outlet WHLY "Y106" in Orlando, Florida.  106.7 FM is currently CHR station WXXL.

WPRO FM

92.3 FM WPRO has been a Top-40 station in (W) PROvidence, Rhode Island since 1974.

WDCG

"G105" WDCG (We're Durham's Country Giant--from a previous Country format circa 1974) is a Top-40 station licensed to Durham, North Carolina.  They've carried a CHR format since 1981.
