I survived a run-in with some totally not fake bears while hiking in the woods last weekend.

WWDL was an Adult Contemporary station in Scranton, Pennsylvania.  The 270-watt outlet went on the air in 1964 and was owned by Doug Lane (the DL in the call letters) until he sold the station in 2005 and went to prison for child molestation.  104.9 FM is currently Classic Hits "105 The River" WWRR.

The Good News Network is a group of Religious stations in four southern states airing Christian talk, teaching and music.  The network has 17 stations and translators broadcasting in English and five heard in Spanish.

WLPE - Augusta, Georgia

WGPH - Vidalia, Georgia

WKTM - Soperton, Georgia

WBLR - Batesburg, South Carolina

WZZG was a GNN affiliated station licensed to Toomsboro, Georgia that went dark in 2015.  The FCC canceled its license in 2016 due to WZZG having been silent for more than a year.

WBUR


90.9 WBUR (W Boston University Radio) is a public radio outlet in Boston, Massachusetts.  They started in 1950 as a student-run station before shifting to a professional staff in the 1970s.  Most music programs were phased out over the years and now the programming is almost entirely News/Talk with a large amount of NPR shows.

KRCB (K Rural California Broadcasting) is a non-commercial, public radio station licensed to Windsor, California (although when I received this sticker in 2002 they were licensed to Santa Rosa, CA).  "Radio 91" went on the air in 1993.

"K104" KIQY was a Top-40 station licensed to Lebanon, Oregon.  They broadcast in the Willamette Valley from 1978 until 1993.  The KIQY call letters were supposedly chosen because of its resemblance to "K104" which seems quite a stretch.

KCHU / KXGA / KXKM







770 AM KCHU is a non-commercial, public radio station licensed to Valdez, Alaska.  They went on the air in 1986 with a 1,000-watt signal which was upped to 9,700-watts in 1990.  Along with two other full-service FM signals and a few translators, the Terminal Radio network covers an area about the size of Pennsylvania, but with a population just over 10,000.

"Jazzy 88" WFSK is owned and operated by Fisk University in Nashville, Tennessee.  Programming is primarily Smooth and Contemporary Jazz music along with Talk shows.  WFSK went on the air, originally as WRFN, on May 15, 1973.

 "Alt 92.5" KSRW is a locally owned station playing a mix of Modern Rock, Blues, Funk and Americana.  They are licensed to Independence, California.

KSRW is owned by Sierra Wave Media which also operates three translator stations as well as low-power television station KSRW Channel 33 licensed to Mammoth Lakes, CA.
