WOGT

The WOGT call letters first appeared in the early 1990s with Oldies station "GT 108."  In 2005 they flipped to Country as "107.9 The Duke" and five years later switched to Classic Hits as "Big FM."  They flipped back to Country again in December 2020.  WOGT is licensed to East Ridge, Tennessee near Chattanooga.

WGNC / WOHS

1450 AM WGNC airs a mix of Talk and Sports while sister station 730 AM WOHS plays Oldies and Beach Music.  They are licensed to Gastonia and Shelby, North Carolina.
 

KYEE

KYEE "94 Key" is a CHR station licensed to Alamogordo, New Mexico.
 

KSES

1420 AM KSES went on the air in April 1983 with an Adult Contemporary format.  They were licensed to Yucca Valley, California which no longer has a station at that frequency.  Anybody know what happened to KSES?
 

KJBR

An early-90s sticker from 100,000-watt Top-40/CHR station KJBR in (K) JonesBoRo, Arkansas.  101.9 FM was the first licensed FM station in the state when they went on the air in 1947 with call letters KBTM.  A detailed history of KJBR can be found here.
 

KCIL

96.7 KCIL is a 50,000-watt Country station in Houma, Louisiana.
 

CISL

Vancouver British Columbia's 940 AM CISL signed on the air in May 1980 with an MOR format.  The call letters were pronounced "C-Isle" in reference to Lulu Island where its city-of-license Richmond is located.  CISL moved to 650 AM in 1985 and flipped to Oldies, a format that lasted until 2008.  A move to Soft Adult Contemporary music was followed by a switch to Sports in 2017.  CISL is currently one of Rogers Communications Sportsnet branded stations.

WWNQ

94.3 WWNQ plays Country music in Columbia, South Carolina.  "Carolina Country" focused on songs from the 1980s and 90s.  They have since re-branded as "94.3 The Dude"playing songs from the 80s to today.
 

WQYK

99.5 FM WQYK has been a Country station in Tampa, Florida since 1972.  The call letters are a tribute to former sister station WQIK in Jacksonville, Florida.

WMZQ

 

98.7 FM WMZQ has been a Country music station in Washington, DC since 1977.  Their original program director says he chose the call letters as an homage to Chicago's WMAQ--another successful, large-market Country station.

WMAP

1060 AM WMAP was on the air in Monroe, North Carolina from 1947 until the mid-1990s.
 

WJZZ

105.9 FM WJZZ played Jazz in Detroit, Michigan from 1974 until 1996.  The station had actually carried this format going all the way back to 1960 when they first began broadcasting with call letters WCHD.
 

WFAE

90.7 FM WFAE (W Fine Arts Education) is a non-commercial, public radio station in Charlotte, North Carolina.  They went on the air in 1977 and are also heard on 90.3 FM WFHE as well as two translator stations.
 

WCAV

97.7 FM WCAV was a Country station in Boston, Massachusetts from 1977 until 1999.
 

KVCX

101.5 FM KVCX is a Religious station licensed to Gregory, South Dakota.  They are one of more than 50 stations and translators in the VCY America radio network.
 

KRJC

95.3 FM KRJC is a Country station in Elko, Nevada.
