WOGT



The WOGT call letters first appeared in the early 1990s with Oldies station "GT 108."  In 2005 they flipped to Country as "107.9 The Duke" and five years later switched to Classic Hits as "Big FM."  They flipped back to Country again in December 2020.  WOGT is licensed to East Ridge, Tennessee near Chattanooga.

KSES

1420 AM KSES went on the air in April 1983 with an Adult Contemporary format.  They were licensed to Yucca Valley, California which no longer has a station at that frequency.  Anybody know what happened to KSES?

KJBR

An early-90s sticker from 100,000-watt Top-40/CHR station KJBR in (K) JonesBoRo, Arkansas.  101.9 FM was the first licensed FM station in the state when they went on the air in 1947 with call letters KBTM.  A detailed history of KJBR can be found here.

CISL






Vancouver British Columbia's 940 AM CISL signed on the air in May 1980 with an MOR format.  The call letters were pronounced "C-Isle" in reference to Lulu Island where its city-of-license Richmond is located.  CISL moved to 650 AM in 1985 and flipped to Oldies, a format that lasted until 2008.  A move to Soft Adult Contemporary music was followed by a switch to Sports in 2017.  CISL is currently one of Rogers Communications Sportsnet branded stations.

94.3 WWNQ plays Country music in Columbia, South Carolina.  "Carolina Country" focused on songs from the 1980s and 90s.  They have since re-branded as "94.3 The Dude"playing songs from the 80s to today.
