Radio RTN

I can't find much relevant information about Radio RTN.  The sticker shows their mailing address was in Wuppertal, a city in west-central Germany.  If you have any info you can add, leave a comment.

"Y107" was a group of four quadcasting Country music stations surrounding New York City all of which broadcast at 107.1 FM.  They were on the air from 1996 to 2002.

WNFN





106.7 FM WNFN was a Sports station in Nashville, Tennessee from 2004 to 2009.  They then flipped to CHR as "i106.7" until 2020 when they rebranded to "Hot 106.7" and upgraded their signal strength to 15,000-watts.  WNFN switched to Classic Country in 2023 and are currently branded as "Y'all 106.7"

WKCX

"K98" WKCX was on the air in Rome, Georgia from 1979 to 2006.  They carried a Hot Adult Contemporary format when this sticker was current.  They were sold to Georgia Public Broadcasting and now have the call letters WGPB.

105.5 FM WJFA was a Top-40 station in Sanford, North Carolina.  Their call letters were the initials of former owner (W) Frank James Abbott.  Today WFJA carries a Classic Hits format.

"C93.1" WCEE was a low-power FM station in Melbourne, Florida circa the early 2000s.  They carried a CHR/Dance format before flipping to Smooth Jazz in 2005 with new call letters WGRZ.

"Foxy 99 FM" WZFX is a Mainstream Urban station in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
 

WKMX



106.7 FM WKMX is a 100,000-watt Top-40 station licensed to Enterprise, Alabama.  In the early 2000s WKMX sued the Coca-Cola Company alleging that they had stolen the station's name and color scheme for its now discontinued KMX energy drink.

KNMZ


103.7 FM KNMZ hit the airwaves in 1996 from Alamogordo, New Mexico and carried the "Stealth Rock" branding until 2010.  They flipped to Sports for the next decade until switching back to being Stealthy in 2021.  Near Alamogordo is Holloman Air Force Base where many fighter jets are based presumably including stealth aircraft.

KENR


Houston, Texas' 1070 AM KENR started out in the late 1960s as a 5,000-watt daytimer.  Five years later they were a 24 hour operation with 10,000-watts during the day and became a hugely successful Country station through the rest of the decade.  In 1982 they shifted to a short-lived "Country Gold" format, then News/Talk as "The Radio Magazine" and finally changed call letters to KRBE in 1983.

88.5 FM WUSM broadcasts from the campus of the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg.  They primarily play Alternative Rock along with Americana/Roots Music, Jazz and Blues.  The 3,000-watt station went on the air in 1973.
