WTAX / WDBR

1300 AM WTAX went on the air from Streator, Illinois in 1923 and moved to Springfield, IL in 1930.  They moved to their current dial position of 1240 AM in 1941.  Today WTAX carries a News/Talk format and is also heard on WTAX FM at 93.9 FM.  Sister station 103.7 FM WDBR has been a Top-40 station since the early 1970s.

WGSP

WGSP "Latina 102.3" was a Tejano station licensed to Pageland, South Carolina near Charlotte.  They are now branded as "Kaliente 102.3" and airs a Spanish Tropical format.
 

KSKD

105.1 FM KSKD was a Top-40 station in Salem, Oregon from 1978 to 1986.
 

KPPT

KPPT "100.7 The Otter" is a Classic Hits station licensed to Depoe Bay, Oregon.
 

KESP

970 AM KESP is a Sports station in Modesto, California.  They were an ESPN Radio affiliate from 2000 to 2013 when they switched to CBS Sports Radio (now known as Infinity Sports Network.)
 

RMF FM

RMF FM (Radio Małopolska Fun) was the first private radio station in Poland having begun broadcasting in January 1990.  They are based in Kraków and are heard on multiple frequencies throughout the country.  RMF airs a CHR/Hot AC format.
 

WWWQ

1430 AM WWWQ "3WQ" began in 1978 as an Adult Contemporary station.  In 1982 they flipped to Country but kept the "3WQ" branding.  This lasted until 1985 when they changed call letters to WKSD.  WWWQ was licensed to Panama City, Florida.
 

WREY

A mid-1970s sticker from 1290 AM WREY in Louisville, Kentucky.  They went on the air in 1966 and by 1979 has changed call letters to WDGS.  The 1976 Broadcasting Yearbook lists them as having a Middle-of-the-Road format and they were also a Country station at one time as well.  WREY was licensed to New Albany, Indiana.
 

Radio FFN

Radio FFN is an Adult Contemporary station based in Hanover, Germany.  They are heard on more than a dozen frequencies throughout the state of Lower Saxony in the northwest part of the country.  Radio FFN began broadcasting on New Year's Eve in 1986.

WNGZ

104.9 FM WNGZ was on the air in Elmira/Corning, New York from 1982 to 2020.
 

WKDU

91.7 FM WKDU is operated by the students of Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  Campus radio at Drexel began in the late 1950s with carrier current station WMAX (and later WXDT.)  The Free-Form WKDU went on the air in 1971 and broadcasts with 800 watts.
 

WFLC

"Hits 97.3" WFLC is a Rhythmic Hot AC station in Miami, Florida.

 

WCFR

1480 AM WCFR has been on the air in Springfield, Vermont since the 1950s.  The owner of what was then WNIX changed the call letters to reflect the first initials of his three children (W) Carlo, Frank and Ruth.  WCFR is currently a Classic Hits station and is also heard on a translator at 106.5 FM.  The Cosmos are the mascot of Springfield High School.
 

WRRR

1330 AM WRRR was on the air in Rockford, Illinois from 1953 until 1982.
 

GU2 Radio

Campus radio at the University of Surrey in Guildford, England began with University Radio Surrey in 1972.  They rebranded as Guildford Campus Radio in 1990 and again to GU2 Radio in 2001 (GU2 is the postal code prefix of the surrounding area.)  Today the one watt station is known as Stag Radio, named after the school's mascot Steve the Stag.
 

KYST

KYST "Patriot Talk 920 AM" is a locally-owned, Conservative Talk station in Houston, Texas.  They flipped from a Spanish-language format in 2024 to become that city's fifth Talk outlet along with KTRH, KPRC, KSEV and KNTH.
 

KROI

KROI "Radio Now 92.1" was a Top-40 station in Houston, Texas from 2017 to 2021.
 

KNOR

"La Raza 93.7" KNOR is a Regional Mexican station licensed to Krum, Texas near Dallas.
 

KJLL

AM 1330 KJLL was a Talk station in Tucson, Arizona.  They dropped that format abruptly around 2012 and flipped to a music format with new call letters KWFM.  1330 AM went off the air pemanently in 2021.
 

Radio Malmo

A terribly generic postcard from Radio Malmo in Malmö, Sweden.  The URL no longer works but I think this station is now 89.2 FM Malmökanalen.
