CKIZ

CKIZ "107.5 Kiss FM" is a Hot Adult Contemporary station licensed to Vernon, British Columbia.  This sticker is yet another example of a station using a suspiciously similar logo as Boston's "Kiss 108".

WIXC

97.3 FM WIXC played Country music in Saginaw, Michigan from 1991 until 1999.  The frequency is currently home to Variety Hits outlet WMJO "Joe FM".  WIXC was licensed to Essexville, MI.

The backside of this keychain features what I can only assume was the station mascot, a cow named Bossie.

WKTY

AM 580 WKTY is a Sports station licensed to La Crosse, Wisconsin.  They went on the air in May, 1948.  Wettstein & Sons is a local appliance, home electronics and furniture store in La Crosse.

College Radio Day / WRVS

Today is the 6th annual College Radio Day where hundreds of campus stations from around the world unite to celebrate the important contributions of college radio.  This year CRD even got a shout-out from President Obama.

89.9 FM WRVS is one of 8 participating stations from the state of North Carolina.  The 41,000-watt station broadcasts NPR News, Sports, Jazz, R&B and Gospel music from Elizabeth City State University in Elizabeth City, NC.  WRVS celebrates their 30th anniversary this year having gone on the air in March, 1986.

WFLZ

Tampa, Florida's WFLZ has been a Top-40 station since 1989, first as "The Power Pig" and later as "93-3 FLZ".

The MJ Morning Show (originally The MJ and BJ Morning Show) existed from 1994 until 2012 and originated from WFLZ.  It was also heard on two other Florida stations as well as KSLZ in St. Louis, Missouri.

WHIO

A sticker and magnet from News/Talk 1290 WHIO in Dayton, Ohio.  Programming, including syndicated talkers Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Herman Cain, is now also simulcast on WHIO 95.7 FM licensed to Pleasant Hill, OH.  The first station in Cox Radio's portfolio went on the air in 1935.

KMGI

KMGI went on the air in Seattle, Washington in 1985 with an Adult Contemporary format known as "Magic 108 FM".  This t-shirt dates to around four years later when they had transitioned to Hot AC branded as "I-107.7".  The frequency is currently Alternative Rock outlet KNDD "107.7 The End".

KYKZ

KYKZ "Kix 96" plays Country music in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

Banana FM 87.7

Banana FM 87.7 broadcasts from Wakayama, Japan. 
Known as the "kingdom of fruit", Wakayama Prefecture is famous for their mandarin oranges as well as strawberries, grapes, persimmons and apricots.  Banana cultivation for clothing and household use in Japan dates back to at least the 13th century.  The fiber from the shoots are boiled in lye to make yarn, tablecloths and kimonos.

NE-WS 89.4 is a "lokalradio" station based in Neuss, Germany.  They went on the air in 1990.

WXYY

"Y107.9" WXYY was a Hot Adult Contemporary station licensed to Port Royal, South Carolina from 2011 to 2014. 

WOZQ

91.9 FM WOZQ broadcasts from Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts.  Radio at the private women's liberal arts school began in January, 1949 when a carrier current station, WCSR, went on the air.  A 21-year, radio-free gap occurred between 1956 and 1977 when a new station, WRSC, was created.  A move to FM took place around 1982 with new call letters WOZQ.

WLTN

1400 AM WLTN is an Oldies outlet in (W) LiTtletoN, New Hampshire.  The 1,000-watt station went on the air in October, 1963 and can also be heard on translator W253AY at 98.5 FM.
This vintage sticker depicts the Old Man of the Mountain, a rock formation on Cannon Mountain that looked like a profile of a face when viewed from the north.  Sadly, the Old Man collapsed to the ground in 2003, a victim of a millenium of freezing, thawing and erosion that no amount of maintenance could keep up with.

WHMH

WHMH "Rockin 101" is an Active Rock station licensed to Sauk Rapids, Minnesota.

WDDC

"New Mix 100" was an Adult Contemporary station licensed to Portage, Wisconsin.  WDDC is now branded as "Thunder 100.1" and carries a Country format.

KSCR

KSCR was the campus radio station for the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.  It began in the mid-1970s as a carrier-current station broadcasting at 1560 AM.  By 1991 their Alternative Rock programming could be heard on a low power signal at 104.7 FM as "The Underground".  The all-volunteer station switched call letters to KXSC in 2010.

KRZZ

96.3 KRZZ was an AOR/Classic Rock station in Wichita, Kansas from the mid-1980s until 2004.

KSEQ

"Q97" KSEQ is a Rhythmic Top-40 station licensed to Visalia, California.

WEBE

WEBE (said on-air as "Wee-Bee 108") is a 50,000-watt Adult Contemporary station licensed to Westport, Connecticut.
