MDR1 Radio Sachsen

Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk (Central German Broadcasting aka MDR) is a public radio and television broadcaster based in Leipzig, Germany. They operate six TV channels and eight radio outlets including MDR1 Radio Sachsen (Radio Saxony.) MDR also has their own symphony orchestra, radio choir and ballet.

This headphone-clad white lion must be Radio Sachsen's mascot as he also appears on the t-shirt above.

Downtown Hoyerswerda in the German state of Saxony. The statue commemorates the 236 people who perished in the tragic Bierflut (beer flood) of 1877.*

*I totally made this up.

What are these Asian noodle slurpers doing on a German radio sticker?
