KIEV went on the air in February, 1933 at 850 AM in Los Angeles, California. A frequency shift to 870 AM took place in 1941. Formats over the years include Top-40, Country, Standards and Talk. In 2001 the station switched call letters to
KRLA and currently carries a News/Talk format. KIEV was licensed to Glendale, CA.
