WWID
"Wide 107" WWID was a Top-40 station in Atlanta, Georgia from 1976 until 1983. Licensed to Gainesville, GA, the 77,000-watt outlet has also carried Adult Contemporary, Country, Oldies, and currently, Talk formats in the intervening years.
WWID was my first radio job from 1982 to 1983 when the station became Lite 106 with an all new studio in the same WDUN building. Lots of great memories for me there! I have moved on to may other stations, nightclubs and now I am still a voice over actor full time. My on-air personality name at the time was Johnny Edwards.
