Radio Vaticana
Radio Vaticana is the official broadcast service of Vatican City. They were put on the air in 1931 by the man credited with inventing radio, Guglielmo Marconi. Programming is heard in 47 languages via short wave, medium wave, FM, satellite and the internet. For 85 years Radio Vaticana operated independently but was absorbed into the Roman Curia in 2017 with the establishment of the Secretariat for Communications.
