KLUV

98.7 KLUV was a longtime Oldies/Classic Hits station in Dallas, Texas.  They were on the air from 1984 to 2023 when they rebranded to "The Spot" and changed their call letters to KSPF.

On December 31st, 1985, Ricky Nelson and his band were flying to a KLUV New Year's Eve sock hop.  His plane crashed near DeKalb, Texas, killing Nelson and six others.
