KCMU
KCMU was an Alternative/Indie/College Rock station broadcasting from the University of Washington in Seattle. They went on the air in 1972 at 90.5 FM with 10 watts of power. By 1986 they had boosted their power to 400 watts and added specialty shows including Hip-Hop, Blues, Reggae and Jazz. They also moved one notch down the dial to 90.3 FM. In 2001 the frequency became KEXP, maintaining the format while partnering with the Experience Music Project.

KQBZ
KQBZ "100.7 The Buzz" was a "Hot Talk" station aimed primarily at a male audience. They were on the air in Seattle, Washington from 1999 to 2005. 100.7 FM is currently KKWF "The Wolf" airing a Country format.
Former syndicated talk show host Tom Leykis did afternoons on "The Buzz" from his Los Angeles home base of KLSX. When callers became tiresome or unwanted, Leykis used to "blow them up" by playing an explosion sound effect while he hung up on them. After awhile, callers simply said "Blow Me Up Tom" when they knew they were about to get kicked off the air. The catchphrase was also the last words spoken on his show before KLSX flipped from Talk to CHR in 2009. The Tom Leykis Show is set to return as a podcast on April 2, 2012 according to his website.

KUBE
Seattle's KUBE started out in the mid-1960s as Religious station KBLE. In 1981 they switched to a straight-up Top-40 format and later changed calls to KUBE. They currently run a Hip-Hop/R&B/CHR format with the clunky title of Rhythmic Contemporary Hit Radio.
Today is "Stay Away From Seattle Day," a semi-humorous attempt to give "America's Best Place To Live" a break from the influx of unwashed masses who keep visiting and relocating there. So please don't move to that great city in the Pacific Northwest and for God's sake don't listen to KUBE.

Bonus! Guest Contributor Post - KZOK
My buddy Dan Sys in Vancouver was kind enough to send one of his many radio stickers along with a bit of station information. Take it away Dan...
Z Rock 1590 is KZOK Seattle from 1990. At that time they split away from a KZOK 102.5 simulcast and carried the syndicated Z-Rock programming from Dallas. That lasted a few years until they became KPOZ with a "positive" Christian format. Today they are KLFE (K-LIFE) with a mixture of Russian programming and Christian Talk. Call letters and formats before the KZOK days included KQUL (Oldies), KJET (Alternative), KUUU (Oldies), KSND (Top 40), KETO (MoR) and originally signing on as KTIX back in the late 50's.
Greg here again. I remember Z Rock very well from listening to Cincinnati's affiliate which came in strong in Dayton. One of my favorite bits was when they played songs backwards or sped up and you had to guess what it was. It was the glory days of hair metal and these guys played it all. By the way, "Hey Stoopid" refers to the album by that name that Alice Cooper released in 1991.
Thanks Dan!
