KKMO
KMO began broadcasting at 1360 AM from Tacoma, Washington in 1922. Sometime in the 1980s (when I believe they carried a Country format) they added a second K to their call letters.

More recently KKMO became a Regional Mexican station known as "Radio Sol." They remain a Spanish language station today but are now known as "El Rey 1360 AM."

KKMJ
"Majic 95.5" KKMJ is an Adult Contemporary station from Austin, Texas. Back in the 1970s, 95.5 FM was home to the much more interesting format of "Progressive Country" KOKE.

Soon after, two former employees began a tribute site to KKLZ's days as a classic rocker along with a live365.com webstream. Tracks from Steely Dan, Neal Schon & Beth Hart, Robin Trower and Alice Cooper were played while making this post.
