WLW

700 WLW is a 50,000-watt News/Talk station in Cincinnati. Ohio.  They've been on the air since 1922.

Talk show host Bill Cunningham has broadcast on WLW since 1983.  In the mid-90s he started a long-running bit about him being the Egyptian sun god Ra which is depicted on the above t-shirt.

The back of the same shirt shows WLW sports guy Bill "Seg" Dennison.

Aboriginal Voices Radio / CFIE

Aboriginal Voices Radio was a Canadian radio network that existed from 2002 until 2016.  Programming was aimed at indigenous peoples including First Nations, Inuit and Metis.

Toronto, Ontario's 106.5 FM CFIE (later changed to CKAV) was the flagship of the network with all other stations rebroadcasting their signal.  In 2014, AVR renamed itself to Voices Radio but left the airwaves soon after when the CRTC shut them down citing a long-term history of non-compliance with conditions of their license.

"Mix Megapol" is a network of about two dozen radio frequencies throughout Sweden.  They went on the air in 1993 as "Skargardsradio" (Archipelago Radio) and later became "Radio Megapol".  They are now branded as "Mix Megapol" and play a mix of current and gold-based hits.

Beur FM is a network of radio stations catering to France's North African population including Algerians, Tunisians and Moroccans.  They are heard on 18 terrestrial signals as well as satellite.  The flagship station went on the air in 1989 at 98.2 FM in Paris and moved to their current dial position of 106.7 FM in 1992.

KSDT




KSDT is a student-run radio station operating from the campus of the University of California-San Diego in La Jolla, CA.  The history of KSDT goes back to the late 1960s when they broadcast at 540 AM via a sketchy, low power carrier current.  Years later they could be heard on cable FM at 95.7.  An effort to acquire a true FM signal has been taking place since at least 1972.  Currently, KSDT's "fiercely independent" programming is carried solely via streaming on the internet.

"Rock 104" WXKE was a Rock station in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  Supposedly, the call letters were chosen because the station's owner loved his Jaguar XK-E automobile so much.

WXKE now broadcasts at 96.3 FM licensed to Churubusco, IN and carries a Classic Rock format.
