92.7 FM WEXI broadcast in Chicago, Illinois from 1968 until 1972. According to Wikipedia, they aired the dual formats of Easy Listening music during the day and Progressive Rock at night (a surprising combination perhaps equaled only by the frequency's current offering of Polish-language programming by day and Dance music by night.) WEXI was licensed to Arlington Heights, IL.
For part of the 1980s, 92.7 FM played "love songs and more" with the provocative call letters WSEX.
