WKAR AM & FM are owned by Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI.  WKAR AM has been on the air since 1922 and was heard on half a dozen different frequencies in the 1920s and 30s before settling at 870 AM in 1941.  Broadcasts are daytime only--they must sign off at sundown in order to protect the nighttime signal of WWL in New Orleans.  WKAR FM's first air date was in October 1948.  Their grandfathered 85,000-watt signal covers much of southern Michigan.  Both stations are charter members of National Public Radio when that organization began in 1971.  Another WKAR sticker can be seen here.

KAZM

Sedona, Arizona's 780 AM KAZM airs a mix of News/Talk, Sports, Classic Rock and Oldies.  Their call letters are pronounced on air as "KAZum" which I'm guessing is a reference to the many red rock formations (including chasms) in that area.
