KAGG
96.1 FM KAGG is a Country music station licensed to Madisonville, Texas. Their color scheme and branding comes from the moniker of Texas A&M University in nearby College Station. Students were originally nicknamed "Farmers" but officially took on the name "Aggies" in 1949 in reference to the school's agricultural roots. The logo of the bottom sticker incorporates a longhorn steer with a slash through it. This is the logo of A&M's nemesis, the University of Texas--a football rivalry so heated it warrants its own Wikipedia page.
