KRNQ

"Q102" was a Top-40 station in Des Moines, Iowa beginning in 1974.  They eventually transitioned to Hot AC which lasted until the early 1990s.

The KRNQ call letters eventually ended up about three hours away in Keokuk, Iowa as a Classic Rock station.  It is currently a Religious outlet as part of the Bott Radio Network.

That top gold "Q-102" sticker looks like the stickers given out in the late 80s for country station WUSQ-FM/Winchester, VA.

That shiny gold style font was popular at one time. I know I have other stickers with that same look but I can't recall where they are from. My WUSQ stickers are more recent and don't use it.

We moved to Winchester when I was 11 (1992) and WUSQ didn't use that logo anymore. They were using the "Flag Q102" logo. You saw the "Shiny Q102" logo on older cars and trucks, from what I remember, it was a late 80s sticker. To be honest, I haven't seen any of them on vehicles in a good 15 years.
