CJRM was founded in 1926 in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan and broadcast on 665 AM. Multiple frequency changes took place over the next two decades and by the mid-1940s they had the call letters CKRM and were now located in Regina, SK. Another frequency shift to 620 AM took place in 2001.
CKRM has been a Country station since 1971.
