WGUC

90.9 FM WGUC airs a Classical music format in Cincinnati, Ohio.  They were originally owned by the University of Cincinnati (the UC in the call letters) when they went on the air in 1960.  WGUC was a charter member of National Public Radio having joined when that network began in 1971.  Most NPR news and talk programming is now heard on sister station WVXU while WGUC is almost all music-based.
