KCPX

The KCPX call letters in Salt Lake City have a long history going back to 1959.  1320 AM KCPX was on the air from 1959 to 1983, many of those years as a successful Top-40 station.  The calls returned again to the SLC market later in the 80s and again in the early 90s.  The top sticker dates to 1999 when KCPX returned once more with a CHR format.  They later transitioned to a Modern Rock station as "Channel 105.7"
