WVAE

WVAE "92.3 The Wave" was a short-lived New Age/Smooth Jazz station in Detroit, Michigan.  They were on the air from the very end of 1987 until they became WMXD at end of 1989.  WVAE's format and logo were modeled after Los Angeles' successful KTWV.
